Battery Park City
Battery Park City is a 92-acre planned community on the southwestern tip of Manhattan. The area was developed to home the many business professionals who work in the financial district nearby. Using soil, rocks and dredging from nearby construction, Battery Park City emerged from the Hudson River in a land reclamation project.
